“Tropical Elegance” is a tropical flower arrangement with strelitzias (bird of paradise), roses, cymbidium orchids, astilbe and leucadendron in a ceramic base. Large and tall, for a home, an office or an event. Made by Ekaterina in our Palma workshop and hand-delivered across Mallorca, today if you order in time.
“Tropical Elegance” is a tropical flower arrangement with strelitzias (bird of paradise flowers) and roses, set off by cymbidium orchids, astilbe and leucadendron in a black ceramic base. It is large and tall, made to stand out in a hallway, on a reception desk or at an event.
Ekaterina builds it in our Palma workshop with flowers she picks that morning, and our own team delivers it by hand anywhere on the island; if your order reaches us in time, it's there today. The photo shows a real arrangement: orange strelitzias fan out across the top, red roses are spread right through it, yellow orchids peep out on the right, and in between there are feathery pink astilbe plumes, burgundy leucadendron, broad aspidistra leaves and sprigs of eucalyptus. In the picture it rests on a pedestal draped in white cloth; what you order is the arrangement in its ceramic base. The shades of the orchid, astilbe and leucadendron can change with the flowers of the day.
Strelitzias and roses
The birds of paradise give it height and its fan shape; the roses, tucked in between, balance the whole piece.
Orchid, astilbe and leucadendron
Cymbidium orchids, soft astilbe plumes and sturdy leucadendron add texture between the larger blooms.
Greenery and ceramic base
Aspidistra, eucalyptus and strelitzia leaves in a ceramic base: it arrives ready to set down.
Events and openings
Its height makes it visible across the room at a reception, a shop opening or the welcome table of a celebration.
Anniversary
For a special date as a couple, when you fancy something more exotic than the usual bouquet.
Birthday
For someone who has everything and loves unusual flowers: a gift that fills the table.
Business or thank you
To congratulate a client, thank a team or brighten up an office reception.
Strelitzias (bird of paradise flowers), red roses, cymbidium orchids, astilbe and leucadendron, with aspidistra, eucalyptus and strelitzia leaves for greenery. Everything sits in a black ceramic base, and there's only one size: the arrangement pictured.
The flowers will: there are always strelitzias, roses, cymbidium orchid, astilbe and leucadendron. The shades, though, depend on what comes in each day: the orchid may be yellow, as in the photo, or another tone; the astilbe pinker or paler; the leucadendron redder or darker. If orchids are your favourite, take a look at our cymbidium orchid box.
It is a flower native to South Africa (Strelitzia reginae) that gets its nickname from its shape: seen side on, it looks like the head of an exotic bird, with the pointed green sheath as the beak and the orange petals rising from it like a crest of feathers. In this arrangement it sets the height and the tropical outline. If you'd like it in a different format, you'll also find strelitzia in our “Tropical Summer” flower box, alongside anthurium and peonies.
Yes. With its size and tropical look, it makes a fine floral arrangement for events: receptions, launches, an office counter or on board a boat. If you need several arrangements or a larger display, send us a WhatsApp first on +34 658 838 056 and we will talk it through.
Usually, yes, if your order reaches us in time: as a guide, before 9:00 for the morning round and before 13:00 for the afternoon one. Our rounds run Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00, plus Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 14:00; nothing goes out on Sundays. Select the date and slot as you pay, and our own team brings the arrangement by hand to whatever address you give in Mallorca. Collection is possible too, at the Coll d'en Rabassa shop, close to the airport. Need help? Call or WhatsApp +34 658 838 056.
No. It arrives in its ceramic base, so just find it a good spot, ideally away from direct sun, heating and air conditioning. If the base feels dry, add a little water, and pick out any flowers that fade so the rest stay on show.
There is one size, as pictured: a large, tall arrangement with the strelitzias fanning out above the roses, so it likes a bit of space around it. In the photo it stands on a pedestal, which gives you a sense of scale.
