“Celine” Flower Basket with Hydrangeas and Roses

No, and we mention it because many people land here looking for something else. “Celine” is just what we call this basket in our shop: we have no link to any fashion brand, and we don't sell handbags or fashion baskets. If you were after flowers, though, you're in the right place: this is a basket of fresh flowers, made by hand in Palma.

Plenty of variety: hydrangeas in several colours, roses, garden roses, spray roses (small blooms on branching stems), lisianthus and a little filler. There is one size only, a large one, and the basket is filled right up into a dome of flowers, as in the photo. We don't give exact measurements, because each one is arranged by hand.

The style, yes; the exact shades, not always. The photo shows pale blue, pink, fuchsia, cream and purple, but the flowers that reach our workshop each morning bring their own palette, and the basket is made from them, so the colours depend on availability. The size, the generous look and the kinds of flowers stay the same. If one flower is missing on a given day, Ekaterina swaps it for another of a similar standard, and if you check with us first, we'll let you know.

No vase needed: it arrives arranged in its basket and simply sits on the table. To keep it looking its best, feel the base every so often and, if it seems dry, add a little water slowly, without flooding it. The hydrangeas are the thirstiest flowers in the basket, so they'll be the first to tell you.

Often, yes, provided you've confirmed with us that every flower it needs is in. Broadly speaking, an order in before 9:00 tends to be delivered that morning, and one in before 13:00 that afternoon. From Monday to Friday there are two delivery rounds, 10:00–14:00 and 16:00–20:00; Saturdays have just the morning one (10:00–14:00), and Sundays have none. Date and slot are chosen when you pay; after that, one of us brings the basket by hand wherever it's going in Mallorca. Collecting it from the shop works too.
