Fifteen hydrangeas, lisianthus, a filler flower and greenery with eucalyptus in a round hatbox: a hydrangea flower box about 70 cm tall that needs no vase. It is put together by Ekaterina at our Palma workshop and we deliver it in person across Mallorca, today if you order in time.
Fifteen hydrangeas, lisianthus, a filler flower and mixed greenery including eucalyptus, arranged in a round hatbox: a hydrangea arrangement in a box that needs no vase and arrives ready to display.
On delivery day Ekaterina arranges it at the workshop in Palma, with flowers fresh in that morning, before one of us takes it over and hands it to the recipient, wherever they are on the island. Get the order in early enough and it may well arrive today. The photo shows one we actually made: a cream hatbox tied with a turquoise satin ribbon, blue and white hydrangeas, white lisianthus, feathery pink astilbe as the filler and sprigs of eucalyptus trailing over the sides. Those were that day's shades; yours will depend on what reaches the workshop.
15 hydrangeas
Big, rounded flower heads that fill the box and give it a soft, generous shape you notice from across the room.
Round hatbox
Finished with a satin ribbon, it holds the whole arrangement, so it can go straight onto a table or sideboard.
Lisianthus, filler and eucalyptus
Lisianthus adds delicate, silky blooms between the hydrangeas; the filler and eucalyptus bring movement and a fresh green scent.
Anniversary
Fifteen hydrangeas to mark your years together, with something that stays on show in the living room.
Birthday
A present that arrives fully arranged: all they have to do is find it a spot.
New baby
To congratulate new parents with flowers that brighten the house and ask very little of them.
Opening or event
A new shop, an office move or a special dinner: a generously sized hydrangea arrangement for the entrance or the main table.
Fifteen hydrangeas, lisianthus, a filler flower and several kinds of greenery, eucalyptus among them. As a guide, it measures about 70 cm high and around 60 cm across at the top, where the flowers open out. There's a single size, which is what the photo shows.
Not exactly. In the photo the hydrangeas are blue and white, the lisianthus white and the filler pink, but the shades depend on the flowers we receive each day. If you would like a different palette, say all white or soft pinks, mention it in your order or send a WhatsApp to +34 658 838 056 and we'll tell you what has come in that day; it isn't always possible, but you will know beforehand. What stays the same: the 15 hydrangeas, the lisianthus and the size. The box and ribbon can vary too: in the photo, a cream box with a turquoise ribbon.
Our customisable hydrangea box holds hydrangeas only, and you choose their colour. This one pairs the 15 hydrangeas with lisianthus, a filler flower and eucalyptus, so it looks more varied and has more movement. If you would rather have flowers for a vase, the hydrangea bouquet can be ordered in white, blue or pink, and you decide how many hydrangeas go in.
Hydrangeas are very thirsty and dislike heat. Keep the box in the shade, well clear of heating, and if the flowers start to feel soft, mist them with cool water. When the weather turns hot, move it to wherever the house stays coolest.
Yes. At around 70 cm tall it has real presence: it looks good on a hall table, a sideboard, a shop counter or a welcome table at an event, and it needs no vase. On a dining table, bear its height in mind and place it to one side rather than in the middle, so that guests can still see each other.
Most days, yes, provided we have your order early enough. To give you an idea, an order placed before 9:00 normally goes out the same morning, and one placed before 13:00 that afternoon. Our deliveries run Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, and on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 14:00; there's no delivery on Sundays. At the payment step, choose a date and slot, and one of our team hands the box over personally, whichever town in Mallorca the address is in. Collecting it from the shop is another option.
Yes, the card is included: write your message when you order and it will travel with the box. Not sure how to begin? Bloomi, our website's AI helper, will suggest a draft you can tweak.
Floristería Mallorca is a family-run flower shop at C/ Cardenal Rossell 73, Coll d'en Rabassa (Palma), near the airport, open to anyone who wants to call in. The shop and the workshop share one space, and that is where Ekaterina selects the day's flowers every morning and makes up the arrangements. If you would like to see which hydrangeas have come in before settling on the colours, drop by and have a look. You can order online and collect your box here, or call or WhatsApp us on +34 658 838 056.
