“Kyoto Beauty” Bouquet of Peonies, Hydrangeas and Lisianthus

Ten peonies, three hydrangeas and eight lisianthus, with dyed asparagus fern and mixed greenery. There are no larger or smaller versions: we make it in just the size you see in the photos, where it's held at chest height to give you a sense of scale. In the pictures it's unwrapped, with just a white ribbon; for delivery we wrap it in paper with a ribbon.

We can't promise that. Each bouquet is built from the flowers delivered that morning, and what's available shifts: some days the peonies come in paler, other days deeper, and the hydrangeas are just as changeable. The photo shows pastel pink peonies and hydrangea, creamy-white lisianthus and pale green buds. The recipe stays fixed (ten peonies, three hydrangeas, eight lisianthus, the asparagus fern and greenery), and so does the size.

It's normal for some to arrive in bud, just like in the photo: they finish opening at home, in the vase. When the bouquet arrives, trim the stems a little, put it in fresh water and change it often. They open faster in a warm room and take their time somewhere cool. Don't prise the petals apart: each bud opens at its own pace.

No. “Kyoto Beauty” is simply the bouquet's name, a nod to its delicate look. We're based in Palma and our deliveries never leave Mallorca. That said, you can place the order from Japan or any other country for a friend or relative who's on holiday or living here, and we'll deliver it by hand.

Most days, yes, provided the order reaches us early enough. Roughly speaking, anything ordered before 9:00 leaves with the morning deliveries, and anything ordered before 13:00 with the afternoon ones. Monday to Friday we're out from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00; on Saturday just 10:00 to 14:00, and Sunday is our day off the road.
