“Polar Star” is a Christmas bouquet of fir, pine and thuja, with no flowers, finished with natural cotton that looks like snow, red ilex berries, pine cones and frosted twigs. A Christmas bouquet that smells of the forest, as good for decorating your own home as for giving in December.
Ekaterina builds it branch by branch at the Palma shop, with snowy northern landscapes in mind, and then our van sets off for whichever town or village it's going to. What you see photographed is the small size, real work from our shop: fir, long-needled pine, thuja, cotton stems, ilex berries, pine cones and white branches poking out at the top, with a white star among the greenery and pale grey and gold paper finished with a red ribbon. For more volume, it also comes in medium and large. Decoration, paper and ribbon follow whatever materials we have in on the day. In December, it's best to order in advance.

No. “Polar Star” belongs to this bouquet alone, a nod to northern winters; the shop behind it is Floristería Mallorca, in Palma. If a fir Christmas bouquet with that name is what you were after, you've found it: we make it here and hand it over in person wherever the recipient is on the island.
Not at all: there are no flowers to open and no petals to drop. A vase of fresh water covering the stems is enough; keep it well clear of radiators, open fires and sunny windowsills so the fir and pine don't dry out. The cotton and snowy twigs are best kept dry. The ilex berries are purely decorative and not to be eaten, so place the bouquet out of reach of small children and pets. When the season's over, hang on to the pine cones and cotton for future decorations.
You fix the date and the delivery window while ordering. December is when our van is at its busiest, so ordering in advance makes sense, especially if one particular day matters. For today? Quite often, yes. Roughly speaking, an order placed before 9:00 tends to be delivered that morning; for afternoon delivery, the cut-off is 13:00.
