“Merry Christmas” Centrepiece with Red Roses and Candles

Yes. They are fresh-cut red roses, with no silk or plastic involved. That is exactly what sets this centrepiece apart from the ones made only of greenery. Like any fresh flower, they have their own pace: they usually fade before the pine and eucalyptus, and a cool room keeps them looking their best.

Of course, they are real candles. First, give the piece a steady surface to sit on and clear away curtains, paper and napkins. A lit candle should never be left unattended; blow both out each time you leave home or go to bed. Once they have burnt down a good deal, put them out before the flame reaches the level of the branches or the decorations. The reindeer and the little parcel are ornaments rather than toys, and the dried orange touches are not for eating.

Around 60 cm wide, give or take, since every branch grows its own way and each piece comes out slightly different. Being long and low, it sits along the dining table and people can still chat across it; the only thing that really rises above it is the pair of candles.

It will be very similar. What stays the same: natural red roses, two long candles, pine or fir greenery with eucalyptus, and a width of roughly 60 cm. At the end of checkout we ask for a date and a time window. On weekdays the van goes out in the morning (10:00–14:00) and again in the afternoon (16:00–20:00); Saturday has a morning run only, and nothing goes out on Sundays. To give you an idea, anything confirmed before 9:00 usually goes out on the morning run, and anything confirmed before 13:00 later that afternoon. December changes things, though: each delivery day books up very quickly, so placing your order in advance is the wise move. Live or work nearby? Pop in and take it home yourself.

Yes, each with its own character. If you can do without flowers and want something bigger, the large Christmas centrepiece (L) comes with fir and three red candles. The round “Picantitto” Christmas centrepiece has a single red candle and chillies. We also make an elongated piece with noble fir and a pair of candles, no roses, and, if you prefer soft tones, “Winter Elegance”. If it is fresh roses you are after, this is the one.
