“Ada” preserved flower bouquet: roses and hydrangea that need no water, delivered across Mallorca

The “Ada” bouquet brings together high-quality preserved roses, preserved hydrangea and several kinds of dried flowers. These are natural flowers treated to keep their looks, so they never go in water: a preserved flower bouquet delivered to the door in Mallorca that stays with you far longer than a fresh one.

It is arranged by hand in the Coll d'en Rabassa workshop and travels with our own drivers, who hand it over wherever you send it in Mallorca. The photos, taken against a black background, show large soft-pink roses, purple hydrangea, white gypsophila, beige bunny tails and oat grass, and preserved green leaves, all tied with a purple jute bow, with no paper. It stands about 40 cm tall and measures around 23 cm across.

What is in the “Ada” bouquet

Preserved roses
Large, open heads with firm petals; in the photo, a soft pink that sets the tone of the bouquet.

Preserved hydrangea
Adds volume and texture between the roses; purple in the photos.

Dried flowers
Gypsophila, bunny tails and oat grass bring lightness and movement; the mix may vary slightly.

Occasions

Birthday
A present that won't end up in the bin after a few days, and looks lovely on any shelf.

A lasting keepsake
For a corner at home or a desk at the office, with no watering to remember.

Anniversary
Still in pride of place long after the day you were celebrating.

For someone who travels
If they are often away or cannot look after fresh flowers, this bouquet waits for them just as it was.

How to care for a preserved flower bouquet

  1. Not a drop of water: do not stand it in water or mist it; if you want to use a vase, keep it dry.
  2. A dry spot out of direct sun: high humidity in bathrooms and kitchens damages it, and sunlight slowly fades the colours.
  3. Handle it gently: the dried grasses and gypsophila are delicate, so hold it by the stems and blow any dust off lightly.

FAQ about the “Ada” preserved flower bouquet

What exactly is a preserved flower?

A real flower, harvested when it looks its best and then treated so that it holds its shape and colour without drinking. Not fabric, not plastic: a genuine bloom. In the “Ada” bouquet it is combined with dried flowers, which add the grasses and the finer details.

Will the colours match the photo exactly?

The base stays the same: preserved roses and hydrangea, as pictured. What can change are the dried flowers around them and some of the shades, depending on what is available in the workshop at the time. The look and the size remain unchanged.

How big is it?

It comes in a single size, roughly 40 cm tall and 23 cm in diameter. These measurements are approximate, as each bouquet is made by hand. It fits easily on a sideboard, in a hallway or on a desk.

How long does it last and how should I look after it?

Looked after properly, it will last far longer than a bouquet of fresh flowers. The main thing is to keep it away from high humidity (bathrooms, kitchens) and from direct sunlight, which fades the colours over time. And never put it in water.

Do you have other preserved bouquets or boxes?

Yes. Our “Nerea” preserved flower bouquet also mixes preserved and dried flowers, in more autumnal tones. If you would like an arrangement in a hatbox instead, have a look at the “Leticia” preserved flower box, which likewise combines preserved and dried flowers.

Is it the same as an eternal rose?

Not quite. An eternal rose is a single preserved rose, usually on a long stem or under a glass dome, whereas “Ada” is a mixed bouquet with hydrangea and dried flowers. If a single rose is what you are after, there is our long-stemmed pink eternal rose or the dome with three preserved roses and a heart.

Can it arrive the same day?

Yes, in the same way as any fresh bouquet from the shop. Roughly speaking, if your order is in before 9:00, it should normally be delivered that morning; get it in before 13:00 and it will usually come in the afternoon. On weekdays the delivery rounds cover 10:00–14:00 and 16:00–20:00; Saturday has just the morning round (10:00–14:00), and Sunday none at all. The date and delivery window are picked at checkout, or you can call in at the shop and take it home with you. Your words go on the accompanying card; if you are stuck for them, Bloomi, our website's AI helper, has suggestions.
