On arrival: trim the stems at an angle and place them in a clean vase with plenty of water.
Every 2 days: change the water and re-cut. Remove wilting iris blooms so the next ones open.
Where: somewhere cool, out of direct sun. The alstroemeria lasts a long time; the iris opens in stages.
