Our Christmas plant basket brings together a poinsettia, other seasonal plants and natural moss in a basket with a handle, finished with festive decorations. It suits people who would like their present to be alive and to keep brightening the home once the decorations are packed away.
Ekaterina selects the plants at our shop in Palma, beds them in moss and finishes the basket by hand; our own driver then takes it to the recipient's door. The photo shows a red wicker basket with a gold bow on the handle, a poinsettia with red bracts, a small lime-green cypress, a burgundy succulent, a red bauble, a white rattan ball and a knitted Father Christmas. The plants alongside the poinsettia, the colour of the basket and the decorations may vary with what we have that day.

No, and we'd rather be upfront about it: there are no sweets, cured meats or bottles inside. It is a basket of living plants with a poinsettia at its heart, for people who would rather give something green. In the photo there's a small, bright lime-green cypress and a succulent rosette in deep burgundy tones, but Ekaterina chooses from whichever seasonal plants reach the shop that day, and the colour of the basket and the decorations also depend on what we have in.

Give them a spot with lots of daylight where the sun doesn't beat down on them, away from radiators, heaters and any door that lets in cold air. Feel the moss before watering: if it's dry, add a little water; if it's still damp, wait. Never leave it standing in water, and the succulent needs even less. If you would prefer just the poinsettia, we also sell it on its own as a potted plant.
At checkout you decide on the delivery date and a time slot. Roughly speaking, if your order is confirmed before 9:00, it normally goes out in the morning; if it reaches us before 13:00, the afternoon is usual. Our vans cover the island on weekdays in two shifts, 10:00–14:00 and 16:00–20:00; on Saturday only the morning shift runs, and the vans have Sundays off. December fills our routes to the brim, so book in advance. Prefer to pick it up yourself? Call in at the shop.
Yes, to any address in Mallorca: an office, a practice, a hotel reception or a shop. It comes with a card where you can add your company name and a few lines for a client or your team; if the wording won't come, Bloomi, our online assistant, suggests a few lines you can then adjust.

A family who opened their flower shop in Palma in December 2016, so our very first weeks were Christmas ones. Ekaterina chooses the plants, checks that they're healthy and puts each basket together by hand at the shop on C/ Cardenal Rossell 73, Coll d'en Rabassa. The website, and Bloomi, the assistant who helps with card messages, are run by Sergio. And we make the deliveries ourselves.
