Our bouquet of roses and sunflowers brings together two flowers that need no explanation: the deep red of the rose and the bright yellow of the sunflower. There are equal numbers of each, plus a filler flower and mixed greenery, in three sizes: 5 + 5, 10 + 10 or 15 + 15.
Ekaterina puts it together stem by stem in the workshop next to our shop on the morning of delivery, and someone from our own delivery team puts it into the hands of the recipient, be it in Palma or a village up in the Tramuntana mountains. The photo shows the small size: large sunflowers and red roses among purple statice and green leaves, ringed by a red sisal mesh, in kraft paper printed with white butterflies and finished with a yellow ribbon. That particular wrapping is only illustrative: yours will likewise come in paper and ribbon, and the filler depends on what came in that day.

Not necessarily. The red roses and sunflowers stay the same, but the filler flower and greenery depend on what arrives at the workshop each morning: in the photo it is purple statice (limonium), and on another day it may be a different small flower in another shade. The paper and ribbon vary as well; the kraft paper with butterflies is only an example.
Red roses stand for passion and sunflowers for joy, so it works for a partner (an anniversary, a date, making up after a row) and well beyond: a birthday, or congratulations on a new job or a passed exam. It is romantic without being too serious.
Sunflowers have thick stems and drink a good deal more than roses. Cut them diagonally when the bouquet arrives, so there is more surface to take up water, and keep the vase well filled, topping it up daily. If a head starts to droop, trim another couple of centimetres off its stem and stand it in fresh water again.
Yes, as long as the order gets to us in good time. Roughly: something ordered before 9:00 is usually delivered that morning, and an order placed before 13:00 normally arrives later that day. We deliver Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 14:00 and between 16:00 and 20:00; Saturdays only between 10:00 and 14:00, and never on Sundays.
